Palm olein (the liquid fraction) is a main competing product to the major soft oils. Depending on the final application palm olein, which is a fractionated product (from palm oil) can be produced to different saturation requirement from Iodine Value of 56 to 64. Palm olein has excellet frying performance and can be used in regular cooking to highly specialized products like cocoa butter replacer or used in infant nutrition. Also available in low GE and 3MCPD grade, RSPO certification.
